Thank you for visiting New Mexico Dual Sport.  NMDS supports the Dual Sport community by providing a centralized place to share information and stories about riding in New Mexico.

What is Dual Sport?

Dual Sport riding is the go anywhere/do anything aspect of motorcycling.  It combines aspects of off road riding, touring, and cruising allowing you to see scenery you would otherwise miss on the paved road.  Dual Sport motorcycles are a balance of off road capability with enough streets to get you there and back again.

Why New Mexico?

New Mexico has some of the best territory for Dual Sport riding in the country.  Vast forests, tall mountains, scenic high desert, and many thousands of miles of dirt roads and trails to get you there.  In the summer you can ride north into the mountains of Colorado and in the winter south into the southern Rockies.  Both the Continental Divide Trail and the Transamerica Trail pass through New Mexico.

This site is designed to be a place to:

• Organize rides and share your past trips
